Good to Know

  • Route with stops can be found here (Uptown and Downtown loops included)
  • Your ticket includes a ferry journey to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island, but not interior monument or museum access. On arrival you will need to pass through a security checkpoint before boarding the ferry, but do not join this line without first retrieving your ferry ticket. Please allow 30 minutes prior to boarding for this security check

  • Children under 3 ride for free and don’t require a ticket

On-site usage

  • Redeem voucher with a Big Bus staff member
  • Meeting point: Stop #1 - M&M’s World or join at any of the stops along the route
  • Other popular stops to join the tour include Stop #2 - Times Square East
  • The Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Ferry operates from 9:00am to 3:00pm with regular departures from Battery Park. You will need to redeem your ticket voucher with a Big Bus Tours staff member before heading to the ferry terminal. During peak times or holidays it is suggested that you make a reservation for the Ferry – a link to the reservation portal is provided on your voucher.

  • Headphones will be provided upon arrival, however feel free to use your own
  • Download the free Big Bus App to live track buses
  • Guests may select a Statue of Liberty ferry departure time in advance by visiting the Booking Management Portal
