This Belém Lisbon Tour takes you on a journey from Lisbon’s historic center to the epic, iconic sights of Belém, where you can explore monuments to the Portuguese voyages of discovery.

Run through Alfama and Marvila. From there, head towards the modern area of Nations Park (Parque das Nações), originally the site of Expo 98 and now bursting with colorful, modern architecture, plus the world’s largest Oceanarium.

Enjoy a different view from Lisbon’s incredible coastline, gliding along the Tagus River, taking in the city’s many colorful houses perched on the hills, important monuments, and the statue of Cristo-Rei.

Your ticket also includes a complimentary guided walking tour of Belém (until approximately 15 July). Explore landmarks including Jerónimos Monastery, Praça do Império, the Monument to the Discoveries, and Belém Tower with a guide.

Belém guided walking tour:

  • Tuesday to Saturday. Departures: 10:30 and 15:00. Duration: 1 hr 30 mins
  • The tour starts at stop 10, Jerónimos Monastery
  • Route: Jerónimos Monastery → Empire Square → Monument to the Discoveries → Belém Tower

Please note that on Tue, Thu, and Sun, the partner’s service does not stop in Belém.

On-site usage

  • Show your mobile ticket to the bus driver or boat staff
  • After exchanging your voucher for a ticket, your voucher will no longer be valid, so please keep the ticket until the end of its validity
  • For the Belém guided walking tour, meet your guide at the Restauradores terminal and look for a yellow umbrella
